Cleanings
A dental cleaning, also known as prophylaxis, involves the removal of plaque and tartar (hardened plaque) from teeth, both above and below the gum line, followed by polishing and potentially a fluoride treatment. It’s a preventative measure to maintain oral health and prevent issues like tooth decay and gum disease.
Pediatric Dentistry
We offer a specialized service on the oral health of infants, children, and adolescents. Pediatric dentistry encompasses preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of dental issues, as well as education for both children and parents on maintaining good oral hygiene. We manage the unique challenges of treating young patients and to create a comfortable and positive dental experience for your kids and your entire family.
Fillings
A dental filling is a restorative material used to repair damage to a tooth, typically caused by tooth decay or trauma. The decayed or damaged portion of the tooth is removed, and the resulting cavity is filled with a material that restores the tooth’s shape, function, and prevents further decay.
Crowns & Bridges
Dental crowns and bridges are restorative dental procedures used to repair or replace damaged or missing teeth, restoring both function and appearance. Crowns are caps that fit over damaged teeth, while bridges fill the gaps left by missing teeth, using adjacent teeth as anchors.
Root Canals
A root canal is a dental procedure used to treat infection or damage in the soft pulp inside a tooth. It involves removing the infected or damaged pulp, cleaning and disinfecting the inside of the tooth, and then filling and sealing it to prevent further infection. This procedure can save a tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted.
Extractions
When all other methods are no longer viable we recommend and perform a dental extraction. Also known as tooth extraction, it is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the jawbone. It’s a common dental procedure used when a tooth is severely damaged, decayed, impacted, or needs to be removed to improve oral health.
Dentures
Dentures are custom-made replacements for missing teeth and surrounding tissues, designed to restore oral function and aesthetics. They can be full (replacing all teeth) or partial (replacing some teeth) and are crafted to fit comfortably and securely within the mouth. The process involves impressions, measurements, try-ins, and adjustments to ensure a proper fit and natural appearance.
Implants
